We’re Greensboro’s newest music venue, designed for music fans, by music fans. Located on Elm Street in Greensboro’s historic district, the building began as a department store in the 1930’s and most recently housed Triad Stage. The Pyrle has been intentionally designed for closer proximity to the band and clear sight lines—there’s never a bad seat in the house! You choose how you want to experience the show… front row, dancing on the floor, high top tables to the side, not one—but two mezzanines overlooking the stage on both sides, elevated stadium seating in the back, and two VIP lounges. The show never stops, even when you want to catch a breather. Our ‘everywhere’ sound system and big screens in the bars and common areas keep you connected to the show.

The Pyrle is “genre agnostic”… we think great music of all types deserves to be heard. We book bands and artists that we feel our friends—and the world—need to hear. At The Pyrle, you’ll find incredible new music, reconnect to old favorites, and catch acts right before they blow up and start playing the bigger, higher-priced venues.

With a standing capacity of up to 1,000… The Pyrle will adapt to each performance. Maybe we’ll welcome around 500 patrons to a fully seated, intimate acoustic show. Or maybe 1,000 of our close friends will dance the night away for a high-energy night. The venue will adapt to the vibe and to our audience.

For shows, the box office is open 60 minutes before a scheduled performance begins, and closes 60 minutes after the first artist takes the stage. At all other times, please call the Box Office hotline (Number to come!) or email tickets@thepyrle.com.

The 5-level Greene Street Parking Deck is directly adjacent to The Pyrle and has over 700 parking spots. It’s located at 211 S Greene St, Greensboro, NC 27401. 

There are at least three surface parking lots with two blocks of The Pyrle, including:
– Elm-McGee Parking 

– Washington/ Federal Street Parking

– 201-209 S Eugene Street Parking

Street parking is also available especially if you arrive early enough. Our incredible cocktail bar will be waiting for you.

Yes! Greensboro has Uber and Lyft… and we definitely prefer that you leave your car downtown overnight rather than drive while impaired.

Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Greensboro is a 5-10 minute walk from the venue and easily accessible to some of our favorite bars and eateries. They offer 15% off room rates with Pyrle ticket purchases. If interested, you’ll receive the hotel booking link when you purchase your tickets.

Other nearby hotels include: Hyatt Place Greensboro Downtown, Marriott Greensboro Downtown, and The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel.

We think that everybody deserves great music! So technically we are “all ages”… though some shows will be 18 or 21 and over. Please check out the specific details provided for each event. If you have younger kids… be sure to look for family concerts on the weekends!

Door times will vary depending on the event. Please check the event page for the most accurate information about your show. Generally, doors open approximately 60 minutes before a scheduled performance begins. Remember… if you want earlier access… check out our Membership/VIP programs!

All sales are final. Performances, schedules, programs, and artists are subject to change. No refunds are given unless a performance is canceled in its entirety, with no replacement performance scheduled. In the unlikely event that a performance is canceled due to extreme weather, The Pyrle will notify ticket buyers.

All bags and personal items are subject to search.

Allowed bags:
● Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″
● Small, non-clear clutches or purses not exceeding approximately 5″ x 8″

Not permitted: Backpacks, large purses, duffel bags, luggage, camera bags, or similar large items.

Exceptions: Bags required for medical purposes or childcare needs will be permitted after inspection at a designated entrance.

Generally, re-entry is not permitted. We have everything you need to enjoy a great night out right here in-house. That said, if you need to step out for a personal reason, please speak to a staff member.

Nope. You should not. Scammers are everywhere and we want to protect our customers. Our ticketing partner (TIXR) offers resale options, waitlists, and everything you need to get into that show you are desperate to see. Be smart and follow the proper channels!

Boy do we! There are multiple bars… but please note they are cashless! Bring a card or tap your phone to get your favorite drink. Our bars offer a sampling of both draft and canned beers, wines, ciders, seltzers, and even select mixed drinks cultivated by our awesome bar staff for each show.

Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is not permitted anywhere inside the venue.

Artist merchandise availability will vary by show and is determined by the artist. The Pyrle merchandise is available for purchase in the venue, and on our online store.

Yes! Lost items can be turned in or claimed at the Box Office (in the main lobby) during an event. After a show, please email info@thepyrle.com with a description of your lost item and we’ll do our best to reunite you!

Boy can you. Not only do we have our main venue and lobby bar… but also a full event space upstairs with a catering kitchen. We’d love to host your party, reception, wedding, corporate event…. What a great question. We spell it P-Y-R-L-E because the theatre at the original Triad Stage was named after Pyrle Gibson (pronounced “pearl”). She was a local arts advocate known for her passionate support of the local Greensboro arts scene. For more on the origin of our name, see About the Venue.
